Founder - Emily Higman

I started Halite Capital Property Management after realizing the kind of property management company I wanted as an investor simply didn’t exist, so I built it.

Like many property owners, I experienced the same frustrations firsthand: slow communication, opaque financials, deferred maintenance, and monthly statements that raised more questions than they answered.

That isn’t asset management. It’s liability management.

Before real estate, I worked as a case manager after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Healthcare from University of South Florida. That experience taught me the importance of communication, accountability, and navigating complex situations with professionalism and consistency — skills that continue to shape how we operate today.

From there, I transitioned into real estate investing.

I’ve completed fix-and-flip projects, built my own rental portfolio, and gained hands-on experience managing investment properties long before becoming licensed. I’ve sat on the ownership side of this relationship. I understand what it feels like to trust someone else with an asset you’ve worked hard to build.

That perspective influences every part of how we operate.

Halite Capital was built around one standard: manage every property the way I’d want my own managed — with proactive communication, operational transparency, documented systems, and an ownership mindset focused on protecting and improving long-term asset performance.
